Selena Gomez Breaks Down in Video, Border Czar says “No Apologies”

As the US President Donald Trump keeps up with his policy on illegal immigration, Selena Gomez posted an emotional Instagram Story. The video shared on social media shows Gomez saying “ I’m so sorry” and apologizing, “All my people are getting attacked.” In the text over the video she mentioned, “I’m sorry” followed by the Mexican Flag. In response to the video, Border Czar said, “No Apologies, we are moving forward”. Tom Homan, newly appointed as the administration’s “Border Czar,” made a bold statement, “We’re going to do this operation without apology.”

But the heartfelt video posted by Gomez was reportedly deleted from her account on Monday. In screenings shared, she emotionally said that “I’m so sorry, I wish I could do something for the kids”. In the video, she appeared upset over Trump’s mass deportation policy.

Screen recordings showed Gomez saying, “I don’t know what to do for them.” Social media posts highlighted Gomez’s emotional apology and her plea for the children.

Mass deportation policy by Donald Trump is about deportation of people residing in the U.S. illegally. Trump recently declared a border emergency and deployed 1,500 troops, including combat forces.Thousands of federal officers were deputized to arrest immigrants during Trump’s first week.

Reports showed a five-year low in crossings as Trump declared an emergency. California to Texas saw 1,000 daily migrant encounters, a sharp year-over-year decrease. Trump also declared criminal cartels as “global terrorist groups,” allowing the deployment of the military.
