The iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrated fan-favorite moments in music, and Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce took home a unique honor. The couple won the Favorite Surprise Guest award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards for Kelce’s unexpected onstage cameo during Swift’s Eras Tour in June 2024.
Although neither Swift nor Kelce attended the event, the duo remained a hot topic at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 17. Their unforgettable stage moment at Wembley Stadium in London, where Kelce helped Swift during a costume change for I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, captured fans’ hearts.
Swift also received eight additional nominations, including Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Music Video for Fortnight featuring Post Malone. Other nominations included Favorite Tour Tradition, Favorite Tour Style, and Favorite On-Screen Moment for her Eras Tour film.
The Eras Tour played a major role in Swift and Kelce’s romance. The Kansas City Chiefs star first attempted to meet Swift at her July 2023 Kansas City concert but was unsuccessful. After publicly sharing the story, Swift reached out, and their relationship blossomed.
Kelce later reflected on his London cameo, sharing on the New Heights podcast that he initially joked about joining Swift’s stage production. When Swift suggested he be part of her costume transition, he eagerly agreed. “I would love to do that, are you kidding me?” Kelce recalled, emphasizing how effortless Swift makes performing look.
Recently, the couple has kept a low profile since Swift’s tour ended in December 2024 and Kelce’s NFL season wrapped in February.
